In 1976, developer Jerry Nelson founded Pinnacle Peak Country Club.  His dream was to build the best golf course in North Scottsdale. That required building all the roads to the area including Pima Road, Pinnacle Peak Road and Dynamite Boulevard.  Pinnacle Peak was the first private golf facility in North Scottsdale and this beautiful creation, with all the adjoining upscale homes, sold out in five years.  Member-owned since 1976, we are a community of all ages, interests and backgrounds.  We value a safe and friendly setting to create a unique lifestyle for our "family" members.   
Over the years, the members of Pinnacle Peak have established a tradition of availability by limiting the number of regular members to 325.  This offers the luxury of uncrowded golf at all times.  Another "claim to fame" is our unique, 18-hole traditional-style, walkable golf course with beautiful, tree-lined fairways rather than the customary desert golf courses found in Arizona.  Significant time and effort have been devoted to creating a course that offers exciting golf.  The lush fairways with pristine, emerald greens offer hundreds of trees, strategically placed bunkers, lakes, landscaped rock falls and lighted water fountain.  Apart from the championship golf, we provide a full-service Golf Shop operated by our Professional PGA
staff and extensive practice facilities to keep your game in tune.  The country club is strategically positioned to offer magnificent views of both the Phoenix Valley skyline and the majestic McDowell Mountain Range. 
With a $5 million expansion and renovation of our clubhouse just completed, we offer greater satisfaction and value to our members. Amenities of the club are lighted tennis courts, a fitness center offering the finest in equipment, attended men's and women's locker rooms and a large lap pool.  Our new clubhouse provides expanded banquet, reception and dining rooms, plus a 19th Hole cocktail lounge.  A fully equipped Golf Shop offers the latest in fashionable sportswear and accessories, along with a full range of golf equipment.
